The point is clear: Nothing is working. But maybe it’s because we’ve become too complacent with our expectations. Maybe the dieting rules are meant to be broken. Or, wait for it…Maybe it’s the rules that are broken. In a world of trendy diets, outrageous cleanses, and unreasonable fasts, it’s time to get real with ourselves.
Know what you’re eating, but not to the point where it’s nearly alive or still covered in dirt. After all, eating well doesn’t have to mean compromising our standards. And it certainly doesn’t mean starving or eating tasteless meals.
Because let’s face it, cheeseburgers are awesome. Add fries and it’s pure bliss. We’d be kidding ourselves to think we’re giving those up any time soon. If you do, amazing. Good for you; you win at life. If not, you’re human. Luckily, we’ve always got your back.
